Jake Norman, a Year 13 student studying politics, history and English literature at Jane Austen College in Norwich, has been selected for next month's Old Catton by-election.

A Labour Party spokeswoman said: "Jake has lived in Old Catton all his life, and is deeply committed to the area.

"As one of our younger members, he brings enthusiasm and new ideas to Norwich Labour Party, and has been active across Norwich and Norfolk in recent campaigns, listening to residents and finding out about local issues."
