People living around the graveyard on Polka Road at Wells have complained to the town council about youths gathering on the site.

A report to councillors from town clerk Emma Gunhouse said there were "several sizeable scorch marks where attempts had been made to light fires".

It adds: "The latter evidence was the most disconcerting given the extended dry period this summer."
