Army Land Rover at centre of A11 tragedy 'would be classed as dangerous by MOT'

Roger Hughes, vehicle investigation worker for Jaguar Land Rover, gave evidence at an inquest into the death of Catherine Moore.

The 73-year-old had been driving towards Thetford from the Barton Mills roundabout when a lorry travelling in the opposite direction was hit by the Land Rover, sending it through the central reservation and into her Porsche.

She died in Addenbrookes Hospital two days later, on June 3, 2022.

The driver of the Land Rover, former Lance Corporal Jack Coker, has previously told the court that he abruptly became unable to steer the vehicle, saying: “It felt like nothing was working. If I would correct to the right, it felt........
