Coventry Live readers have mixed opinions on fresh proposals to extend segregated cycle tracks linking the city centre with the airport and West Midlands Green Power Park.
Work at the Abbey Road junction wrapped up last year, and a stretch between Abbey Road and the ASDA roundabout on London Road was completed earlier this year. The next sections—covering London Road South, the busy ASDA roundabout, Humber Road, and Terry Road—will be debated at a council meeting on Wednesday, July 23, with approval expected.
Some locals welcomed the plans, while others raised concerns over "longer crossing times at the ASDA roundabout," increased congestion, narrower roads, and fewer parking spaces near Humber Road.
