Be vulgar if you're actually funny. But do not come for Bluey

Look, I have some strong views about Bluey. Strong. I love her and entire family with a buoyant passion, especially Chilli, the chillest mother on the planet.

As an antidote to all this hate we have around us, we need a brand new series - or even a new episode of Bluey - because hate should never win.

It will have to be a cross between Escape, one of my all-time favourites (ah, maybe equal with cricket) and Shadowlands.

One's about the kind and brilliant uses of the imagination, the other is about working together and exploiting the darkness. Yes, I've watched all the episodes of Bluey. What of it? I've got four grandkids. Of course I have.

Bluey is in the news because One Nation, the darkness, stole her likeness for a deeply unpleasant colouring-in book.

Looks like she's about to be attacked by a crocodile with a knife. By her side is Robert Irwin. That's not the only reason. It's stolen her likeness again by putting Christine Bluey Heeler behind the wheel of an SUV and repeatedly ramming politicians.

Good one, Pauline. Good one.

Just to join the dots for those with a join-the-dots mentality, this is the same month as Indi's Helen Haines was rammed by an SUV. Both her legs were amputated.

The ABC is mightily pissed. Not surprising because One Nation degraded a national treasure for its own grubby purpose.

How did no one notice this horrific exploitation before this?

I'm guessing the kind and decent among us don't watch filthy One Nation cartoons or take merch handed out willy-nilly, merch exploiting children. It's ghastly. Not sure if you caught the work of ABC 7.30's Alysia Thomas-Sam.

She quietly, confidently, made it clear that the comedic work of One Nation is a binfire of shitheadedness, the makers without judgement or any idea of what's funny. Trust me, prolapses aren't funny.........
