Roni’s Remedy: Shedding, suspicious and softness

I feel like I’m outgrowing people I’ve known forever. I don’t want to judge them, but they aren’t working on themselves and I am. I get accepting people, but I feel like they are holding me back sometimes. How do I let go without feeling guilty? – New Skin

New Skin – You do just that and you let them go. Not every ending to a relationship needs a conclusion. Sometimes it’s best to just silently disappear. But if you feel you need closure, then explain to them that you’re doing some inner work and want to explore other friend groups. But I’ve discovered during my life that fake and false relationships will fade away on their own. I do suggest, if you’re not ready to let these people completely go, maybe show them how to work on themselves. They might follow suit. It’s okay to outgrow people because that’s what life is, constant change. And sometimes people work on themselves at different rates and various levels. Take a step back, meditate on it and see where the next step leads you, guilt........
