You have lots to keep you up at night. But, certainly, you have a plan, a direction.

Then Donald Trump’s fingers smash uncontrollably across his phone’s keyboard and upend reason. You are forced now to deal with scattered, illogical ranting that, were it not coming from the de facto dictator of a mighty country, would be dismissed as the meanderings of a social media troll.

Such was the case Monday evening, when Trump threatened in a social media post to block opening of the Gordie Howe Bridge connecting Windsor and Detroit. His post showed both ignorance and hypocrisy about the bridge, then veered into comments on booze, milk and an assertion that China will somehow take hockey away from Canada.
