Things in America have been looking better over the last 18 months, if you ask me.

New numbers out Wednesday morning showed that inflation slowed down last month. Gas prices started the year at a good, affordable level. They have gone up and down since the fight with Iran began.

I think that fight was and is a righteous one, but we need to wrap it up over there.

President Donald Trump is working hard on election security, the economy, and countless other issues that will directly and indirectly affect American life in the coming months and years.

He gets little help from Senate Republicans and none from Democrats.

He is also removing illegal immigrants who have no business being here, with constant friction.

Every removal of one of these people means less pressure on housing and public services.

Still, the government printed trillions of dollars over the last six years. That diluted the value of every dollar every American earns.
