If only Philadelphia had as much enthusiasm for plowing snow as getting rid of ICE

Philadelphia endured its worst winter storm since 2016, delivering nine inches of icy snow and subfreezing temperatures in January — an unrelenting wintry mix creating hazardous conditions throughout the area. Over two weeks later, many of the city’s streets, sidewalks, bus stops, and roads were still not plowed, as city taxpayer dollars continued to fund an incompetent and inefficient bureaucracy. Yet, instead of organizing efforts to ensure government services were fulfilling their duties, city officials held pointless press conferences, virtue signaling their disapproval over Immigration and Customs Enforcement and illegal immigration enforcement operations.

If only the city’s elected leaders cared as much about plowing snow-covered roads in the city as they do about demonizing and vilifying law enforcement officers upholding federal immigration law.
