Sheryl Crow has been an iconic singer-songwriter since the early 90s, further making a name for herself through the 2000s. And she’s still making music in 2026, although she revealed that things are a lot different now. For one, she doesn’t expect to make much money from her latest album, Pick You Up.
In an October 2026 interview with The Sun, Crow admitted that it’s difficult to make money from music anymore. “I’m at a point now where it’s not a money-maker for me,” said Crow. “In fact, it’s expensive. I pay people—and I’m never going to see the money back. With this record, I’m losing a s**t ton of money.”
However, Crow also said that she’s not in it for the money anymore.........
