It could be a challenge to find a better example of the elitism in the press than this example from Katy Tur. She literally is lamenting — she says she is “dismayed” — that President Trump and others have the unfettered right to speak their mind. 

Tur was very bothered that we no longer have just a handful of news outlets gatekeeping the news, and that there are myriad outlets to get information. On top of that, the President and other leaders are just free to say whatever they want. This is seen as a problem for the woman whose very career hinges on the First Amendment.

 I don't know what the solution is. Part of the free speech in this country is that anyone can say anything, and that includes, to our dismay, our officials and the President of the United States. Tell me how he's using that and why it is so detrimental.
