Supreme Court Allows Public to Submit Suggestions for Ram Temple Theft Probe to SG

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday (August 17) said petitioners and other public-spirited citizens can send suggestions to the Solicitor General’s office on what the Special Investigation Team (SIT) should look into as it probes the alleged theft of donations made to the Ram Mandir trust in Ayodhya.
A bench of Chief Justice of India Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice V. Mohana said these suggestions could cover any area that needs a closer look by the SIT, which was set up by the Uttar Pradesh police, Live Law reported.
The bench made these observations while hearing a set of petitions asking for a court-monitored probe........
