New Delhi: US President Donald Trump, struggling to pass a strict proof-of-citizenship voting bill ahead of the midterm elections, has now claimed that India’s Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, has purportedly questioned the lack of voter identification in the US polls.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:

Earlier this month, India’s Chief Election Commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, asked our Administration — How can you have Elections in the U.S. without a valid Photo ID? India’s last Election had 646,000,000 Voters! Less........
