AI in Jewish Nonprofits: Capacity Is a Mission Issue

Most Jewish nonprofits are not struggling because they lack commitment. If anything, the opposite is true. Their leaders, staff, volunteers, and boards care deeply about the work. They believe in the mission. They want to make a difference. And every day, they show up to do exactly that.

The challenge is that commitment alone does not create capacity. Across the nonprofit sector, I hear many of the same concerns. Teams are stretched. Community needs continue to grow. Administrative work keeps expanding. Staff members are wearing multiple hats. And despite everyone’s best efforts, there never seems to be enough time.

This is not a mission problem. It is a capacity problem. That distinction matters. Because when organizations........
