Occupy Iran’s Gulf Shoreline
The way to protect the Persian Gulf is clear: Take the entire Iranian shoreline along the Persian Gulf.
And annex it. Rightly annex it. It is a necessity for national and international security.
It’s the same way Israel rightly annexed the Golan Heights for self-defense and regional stability. The same way Trump rightly got the US to recognize the Golan annexation. The Middle East is more stable for the fact. The world is safer for it.
Annexing the Persian Gulf shoreline is even more needed for international security. Regional stability will be greatly enhanced by it. So will global stability.
And the Gulf will finally get some protection in depth. Missile defenses can be set up in annexed areas. Ports can be bastions of security instead of outposts for destabilization. The port cities will flourish as never before. They’ll boom under the new security umbrella. They’ll sport luxury hotels, maybe even some Trump Plazas.
And Iran? If it finally liberates itself and stabilizes as a free country, a limited sovereignty-sharing arrangement for the coastal area can be set up with it. That way Iran can recognize the annexations without political suicide.
It’s a win-win for everyone – for the US, for the Mideast, and for a future free Iran. And a good incentive meanwhile for the Iranian regime to deal seriously and arrange a transition to a more civilized government and relationship. Otherwise we could always take over and annex some more hinterland for our Gulf Security Zone.
