President Xi has taken a pivotal role in stareing China’s foreign policy through telephonic talks, strategic messages, and one on one meetings, with emphasis on creating a community of shared interests, that will lead to a win win situation for everyone.

Strengthening US-China Relations

Just three days before the oath taking of the 47th US president, Chinese supremeo Xi Jinping and president elect Donald Trump had a telephonic discussion. Xi’s focus was on the vast shared interests between the two world powers, he further highlighted that both states could gain reciprocal prosperity by helping each other under an umbrella of common interests.

Furthering people-to-people connections, Xi sent a Chinese New Year greeting card to friends in Iowa, expressing hope for enhanced cultural and social exchanges. “We need to work together,” said Dan Stein, chairman of the Muscatine-China Initiatives Committee, emphasizing the necessity of stable bilateral relations.
