NATO chief Mark Rutte indicated that the alliance would announce significant new defense spending projects at its upcoming annual summit in Turkey.
Good times lie ahead for the international aerospace and defense sector, as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced on Thursday that tens of billions of dollars in NATO funds would be directed towards future procurement contracts.
Speaking at the Atlantic Council in Washington, Rutte suggested that major future defense spending initiatives would be announced at the upcoming NATO summit, set to take place from July 7–8 in Ankara, Turkey.
Rutte’s recent comments echo an earlier comment during a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, Belgium, earlier this month.
