Watch live: Melania Trump speaks at Fostering the Future Together global summit

First lady Melania Trump will deliver remarks Tuesday morning at a global summit as part of her Fostering the Future Together initiative — which focuses on ways “to address challenges children face in the digital era.”

During the event, Trump will welcome a group of first spouses from 45 nations, senior Trump administration officials, “select organizations” and a group of representatives from the technology and education sectors, according to guidance.

Last August, the first lady launched a competition for students across the U.S. to “unleash their imagination” by participating in the first-of-its-kind artificial intelligence (AI) competition as part of the initiative.

The summit, held at the State Department, is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. EDT.

There will also be a roundtable with the first spouses at the White House on Wednesday.
