Watch live: House convenes hearing on confronting terrorism threat post-9/11

Former national security adviser H.R. McMaster and intelligence experts will testify Tuesday morning before the House Select Committee on Intelligence on confronting threats nearly 25 years after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Lawmakers are expected to examine how the nation’s counterterrorism strategy has evolved over the years and whether the intelligence community is prepared to identify emerging threats — especially in the age of artificial intelligence and rising political violence.
