Live updates: Trump says US-Iran conflict now ‘like a chess game’

President Trump will swear in Todd Blanche as the next attorney general on Monday, following weeks of controversy that ended in the Senate early Saturday morning with a 50-49 vote to confirm the appointment.

On the Iran conflict, Trump said Sunday that it is now “like a chess game” and that the U.S. is only partially negotiating with Tehran. But the depleted stockpiles of American munitions are also limiting Trump’s options.
