Live updates: Trump delays new tariffs on Canada amid talks; Florida, Wyoming primaries yield upsets

President Trump announced late Tuesday he would pause the 50 percent tariffs on many Canadian goods for three days, saying the U.S. and Canada are finalizing a deal. The tariffs were expected to go into effect at midnight Wednesday.

At the White House, the president will meet with crypto, prediction market and financial leaders, along with regulatory agency chiefs. The huddle comes as the Senate has delayed action on the Clarity Act, which would create a regulatory framework for the cryptocurrency sector, until it returns next month.
