House Democrats call for special counsel to investigate Trump’s ties to Epstein 

Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee are calling for a special counsel to investigate President Trump’s alleged ties to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, in a new report released Monday. 

Democrats claimed that out of the 11 women who have tied Trump to Epstein’s crimes of sexual abuse and exploitation, five of them have “directly accused Trump of raping or sexually assaulting them in Epstein’s company or direct physical presence.”

It goes further to note that Trump has denied any ties to Epstein’s operations,and alleges that Attorney General Todd Blanche is covering up “further evidence that directly implicates Trump.”

“Instead of pursuing justice for Epstein’s survivors, former Attorney General Pam Bondi and Attorney General Blanche have been running DOJ like a private legal defense firm for their former client,” the report says. “Determined to protect the President at any cost, DOJ itself now leads the cover-up of Epstein’s sex trafficking operation.
