Fetterman to Mamdani for suggesting Netanyahu arrest: ‘Sit down’

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) on Sunday said New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D) should “sit down” after floating the possibility of arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his upcoming visit to the U.N. General Assembly.

“Well, [he’s] such a tough guy to say that kind of thing. He has no way to do that. Of course, obviously, America’s not even part of that corrupt court,” Fetterman said in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures” on Fox News, referring to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Fetterman said if he were mayor, he “would just sit down and focus on other –– the problems that they have in New York. That’s really not your purview.

“You and I know that,” the Pennsylvania Democrat said. “Sit down.”
