Carville rips Stevens over Rogers endorsement: ‘Your political career is over’

Democratic Strategist James Carville said Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.) sold her soul in endorsing former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) for Senate in Michigan over her primary rival, Democrat Abdul El-Sayed.

The strategist took to YouTube to disavow Stevens for coming out against El-Sayed in a battleground race that could decide control of the Senate. Carville said Stevens’s political career is over and panned her for siding with Republicans, who he said are committing “treason of the highest level.”

“You got to put some kind of a price on yourself, or some kind of goddamn self-pride. But your political career is over,” Carville said. 

Stevens came out in support of Rogers — a staunch supporter of President Trump, whom she has strongly spoken out against in the past — after El-Sayed disinvited her from a campaign stop over the weekend. Stevens........
