President Trump on Tuesday attacked Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond as a “fake Republican” ahead of next week’s GOP runoff for governor. 

He renewed his support for Republican Mike Mazzei, a former state senator and state budget secretary, who advanced alongside Drummond from the June primary to a late-August runoff. 

“Meanwhile, his Runoff Election Opponent, Gentner Drummond, is a FAKE Republican,  Trump wrote on Truth Social. 

The president blasted Drummond’s opposition to a planned aluminum smelter in Oklahoma. As state attorney general, Drummond filed a lawsuit to block the plant, a Trump-backed project that would be the largest facility of its kind in the country. Opponents argue that the........
