‘Summer House’ alum Luke Gulbranson launches House bid in Minnesota

Former “Summer House” star Luke Gulbranson says he’s leaving behind the antics of reality TV and aiming to go where the “real drama” is in Washington.

“Yeah, I’ve been on reality TV,” the 42-year-old model and actor said in an ad released Wednesday announcing the launch of his campaign for Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District. The seat is currently held by Rep. Pete Stauber (R). 

“That’s drama for show,” Gulbranson said. “What’s happening in D.C. is real drama with real consequences. And the stakes couldn’t be higher.”

“I wake up every morning and there’s this dangerous rhetoric and this madness coming out of D.C. And I can’t stand it,” said Gulbranson, who appeared as a cast member on the Bravo reality series from 2020 to 2022.
