Loomer meets Zelensky after turnaround on war

Far-right influencer Laura Loomer met with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky on Thursday after publicly reversing her long-held and outspoken opposition to backing Ukraine in its war with Russia, expressing support for the country in a visit to Kyiv.

Loomer, who is a loyal ally of President Trump, has frequently criticized U.S. military aid to Ukraine amid its years-long war with Russia, but said experiencing air raid sirens firsthand while in Ukraine changed her perspective.

She apologized for her previous comments about Ukraine two days after Russia launched a deadly attack on Kyiv that killed 6 people.
