NewsNation to host town hall on future of technology as AI concerns grow  

On Tuesday, cable news channel NewsNation will host a town hall event focusing on the future of technology and how its evolution will impact all facets of human life for years to come.  

The event, to be broadcast at 8 p.m. EDT and moderated by NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo, is slated to feature in-depth conversations with leading innovators, tech leaders, scientists and other cultural voices, the network said this week.  

Guests slated to appear include astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, bestselling author Scott Galloway and “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe.  

Held in front of a live studio audience in New York City, the event will also feature a discussion on artificial intelligence, including what’s next for users and creators of AI, and how to measure its global impact.  

Tuesday’s event comes as AI is increasingly standing alone among emerging technologies as taking a substantial foothold in all aspects of American business, politics and culture. 

It’s a trend, Cuomo said, that makes the fast-changing world of technology prime real estate for a meaningful and thorough exploration.
