Inbetweeners creators are 'writing something' new for beloved show, TV star says
New content for beloved British TV series The Inbetweeners could be on the horizon, with its creators reportedly working on new content.
Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas has revealed the creators of the popular show, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, are "writing something" new.
The coming-of-age sitcom ended in 2010 but was followed by two spin-off films in 2011 and 2014.
Speaking at The Comedy Rooms, Thomas, who played Simon Cooper in the series, said: "What has happened is that the people who wrote The Inbetweeners a while ago sold the rights to a larger entity, and they recently bought them back so they can make some more.
