Silent Witness will be returning to our screens very soon, as the crime/mystery show airs its 29th series on the BBC.

Fans have had to wait a little longer than usual to watch the new series, with it traditionally broadcasting in January.

A major change will see the show relocated from London to Birmingham after Dr Nikki Alexander (Emilia Fox) agreed to set up a new forensic centre of excellence based at Birmingham General Hospital.

Jack Hodgson (David Caves), Harriet Maven (Maggie Steed) and Kit Brooks (Fran Mills) will also be returning for the main team........
