Suzanne Sites-Fenton, 32, was killed in 2001 after being abducted from a mall parking lot in Victorville, Calif.

After over two decades, a suspect has been arrested in the kidnapping and killing of a California woman who disappeared from a mall while working at Mervyn’s, officials said Friday.

Suzanne Sites-Fenton, 32, was scheduled to work the night shift at the Victor Valley Mall in Victorville on April 14, 2001. Her shift ended at 10:30 p.m., and she left for a break in the parking lot at about 8:30. She never returned.

Her husband knew she planned on picking up Easter candy for their 6-year-old son after work, so he wasn’t initially worried........
