49ers' Jauan Jennings gets huge payday with game-winning catch vs. Bears

Wide receiver Jauan Jennings didn’t just catch the biggest touchdown of the season for the San Francisco 49ers. He also cashed in on a big payday in the process.
Jennings hauled in a pass from Brock Purdy and ran it in for a 38-yard touchdown catch with 3:07 left in the fourth quarter on Sunday, which ended up being the game-winning score for the 49ers when they held the Bears out of the end zone on the final play to pull off a 42-38 win.

With the 38-yard catch, Jennings went past 600 receiving yards on the season (he’s now at 608) and earned a $666,666 incentive, per Spotrac. It’s the third payout Jennings has reached for the season, as he already played in over 50% of snaps to earn $1.5 million and has tallied nine touchdowns to earn $666,667.
