Got my new specs and am amazed at how much brighter the world is and shocked at all I have missed for a long time.

I have to say I was most excited to be able to move my chair from the middle of the living room. I can now see the picture clearly on my TV and read the sports scores and the news banners. Haven’t been able to do that for a very long time.

The computer screen has also cleared up and is comfortable to read from an appropriate distance. I had worried about getting up so close to it. I grew up in an era when sitting to close to the TV would ruin your eyes.

There is always a down side to everything. All those cobwebs, dust bunnies and crumbs I never noticed before are now........
