Gas prices are surging to their highest level of the year as the Iran war grinds on

U.S. gas reached their highest level in four years on Tuesday, with the national average hitting $4.18 per gallon as peace talks between Washington and Tehran remained deadlocked over the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's nuclear program.
