Postpartum depression and anxiety are major issues that affect new caregivers. Many new parents focus on the birth plan to prepare for this major stage of life. But what I find in my work as a clinical psychologist is that new families really benefit from a postpartum plan as well. What are the needs, relationships, and activities that will help you maintain your well-being postpartum? Knowing these will promote your child’s well-being as well.
