Congratulations to Fred (The Fiddler) MacDonald on reaching his 80th birthday on Aug. 15. Personally, I think his column is one of the few bright spots on the sports page. Maybe The Fiddler and the sports editor could use their clout to get the “powers that be” to bring back the local and national statistics.
