Just splash the cash and a doctor will even show up at your house. Just don’t be fooled by the company name — PEIDoctor.com. The truth is, Islanders aren’t welcome to access the service no matter how much cash they can throw around.
To be fair to chief executive officer Marius Croeser and his crew at Endwell Management Inc., there is no reason to believe he has anything against Islanders (or Canadians outside Quebec for that matter). Like any good businessman, it seems that he has found a niche market.
While there are agreements between the provinces to pay at least some of the cost for Canadians who receive medical care in another provincial or territorial jurisdiction, international patients are billed for services they receive at a hospital or doctor’s office.
