Path to peace: From prayer to practice
CARDINAL Raymond Burke’s recent initiative, Nine Weeks of Prayer, is a commendable effort to promote spiritual growth and unity.
However, a fundamental question remains: can we truly achieve lasting peace through prayer alone? The answer lies not merely in prayer, but in practice. All major religions emphasize the values of peace, compassion, and unity. The Holy Quran, in particular, urges humanity to rise above differences and embrace a shared sense of brotherhood. Yet, despite these divine teachings, conflicts and divisions continue to afflict the world.
