I cast my ballot on the second day of the advance vote because the queue of people on the Friday was so long, I couldn’t wait. I have voted for about 20 years at the very same south-end community centre, and had never seen such a long line. It snaked from inside a hall in the community centre to the parking lot, and a friend who braved it said it took him about an hour to vote.
