Lukasz Wlodarz had been charged with four offences under the Firearms Act 1968 involving weapons, ammunition and illegal possession of gun accessories.

The 41-year-old, of Maurauder Road, Norwich, denied the offences and was next due to appear at Norwich Crown Court in October.

But the case was back at court on Wednesday (July 27) when the court heard Wlodarz had died and the indictment - offences faced by the defendant - were stayed, meaning the court will not proceed and the case is closed.
