Tasha Gille, owner of Little Craft Hutt, has grown her business since 2015 and is now running a series of monthly workshops to encourage people to take up crafting to help their mental health.

Mrs Gille has held two craft events at Yalm in the Royal Arcade in January and February - both of which sold out.

Each one has had a different theme and those who attend suggest what they want to make.

So far the groups have made charm bracelets and painted plant pots.

Mrs Gille said: "For people who suffer from anxiety it lowers stress levels. Crafting is an outlet for stress.

"You are surrounded by people in the same boat and to see people who were originally nervous coming back, laughing and being more outgoing is amazing."

She says she has used her battle with mental health challenges to turn her business into a mission in support of wellbeing.

Mrs Gille said: “After years of struggling with the isolation and mental health challenges of being a stay-at-home mum to four children, I decided to turn my passion for crafting into a lifeline - not just for myself, but for others."

The business owner added her events are growing as she was recently chosen from more than 300 applicants to host a pop-up in Norwich Market in June.

In April there will be more events held at the Lions Den and Mrs Gille is also in talks with Kind Coffee in NR5.

John Lewis has also offered the use of their community space.

Tickets for the monthly workshops are £22 or two for £40 as part of a bring-a- friend deal.
