What shopping in Norwich looked like before the likes of Amazon and Shein got popular

The city centre was constantly teeming with shoppers before the rise of internet shopping.

Norwich played a pioneering role in modern retail with London Street becoming the first existing shopping street in the UK to be pedestrianised in 1967.

Some shops have stood the test of time such as Jarrolds, which was opened in 1823, with Waterstones and Primark still bringing in crowds.
