A paddock off the A47 near King's Lynn could become a private dog walking field.

Plans have been drawn up to turn the field at Tilney All Saints into a secure, bookable dog exercise area for public use.

Planning papers say the two-acre site at Islington Hall would be fenced off to allow owners to exercise their pets safely in a fully enclosed space.

A planning statement said it would be "an asset for the wider community" who would be able to book sessions during daylight house seven days a week.

The site is currently screened by trees, and no floodlighting is proposed, to limit the visual impact and preserve the character of the area.

The field would be available for exclusive use by one booking at a time, with each session limited to one family and between one and four dogs.
