The name of the new tenant at Chantry Place will be revealed to the public "very soon", it has been teased.

Jo Bates, general manager of the shopping centre, has so far kept the new addition under wraps and "can't say any more at this stage" about the opening.

It is unclear what unit the business will replace, but the mall has multiple vacancies.

It comes after it was announced luxury jewellery brand Swarovski will open its doors at Chantry Place, taking over the former Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop unit on the ground floor.

Once open for business, the jewellery chain - which had a previous store in the mall that closed four years ago - will mark the sixth new tenant that has opened at the mall in the last year.

Chantry Place recently suffered two major losses in River Island and Claire's, which shut in January and April respectively.

Both of the units are currently empty, but the mall is "already having conversations with brands regarding the former River Island unit".
