Tabitha Green, the owner of State of Disarray, has announced one lucky customer will win a handmade "disco animal hood" in a prize draw launching at the shop.

The site in Dove Street sells a range of festival clothes but shoppers have been blown away by the accessory designed by Ms Green and handmade in Hanoi in Vietnam.

She said: "The animal hood is really out there, people have been in awe of it.

"It has attracted a lot of attention.

"The shop's official launch will be on Saturday.

"We will be launching our prize draw to win a one-of-a-kind disco animal hood.

"The winner will be selected on May 31.

"There will also be a lucky dip where customers can win same-day discount codes, gift vouches and essential festival accessories such as bum bags.

"The idea is to create a fun, interactive experience in-store that reflects the playful and slightly chaotic energy of the brand."

Ms Green added she is aiming to open the second floor of the shop by mid-May.

She said: "This will be called State of Disarray's lost and found department and it will have sale items, pre-loved clothing and one-of-a-kind pieces I have kept over the last 15 years.

"All our clothes are tailor-made in Vietnam and my partner Dan makes the jewellery.

"Everything in store is very limited edition.

"The shop opening has exceeded my expectations.

"One couple said they saw we had opened and literally leapt off the sofa to come and visit the shop.

"Almost everyone who has visited has made a purchase."

State of Disarray will be trading at festivals this year including Shindig, Wilderness, Shambala and Mucky Weekender.

Customers can also purchase clothes on State of Disarray's website.
