Locals in Swardeston - located just five miles south of Norwich - say the 43 new houses will cause traffic chaos on their already congested roads.

The development, which was approved by South Norfolk Council, will be built in a field off Main Road, just outside the village.

But those living in Swardeston say the area, which was once a close-knit community, has lost its neighbourhood feel since its pub and shop closed.
