Eleanor Laming, Broadland district councillor for Brundall, has objected to Hemingford Limited's proposals to turn a piece of land near the McDonald’s on the A47 in Brundall into a Sainsbury’s, two cafés, and a solar park.

Ms Laming is calling for a three-metre-wide cycle lane that links the site, which is earmarked to run along Yarmouth Road in front of a new-build estate, to nearby Blofield.
