Green Pastures is one of just 20 bookshops chosen by the Booksellers Association to represent the independent sector during the national celebration, which runs from Saturday, June 13 to Saturday, June 20.

The Booksellers Association said Bookshop Champions are selected for their innovation, community impact and commitment to encouraging reading. The final list was drawn from an open submission process across its membership, reflecting independent bookshops’ role as local cultural hubs.

Green Pastures is an award-winning Christian bookshop based in the centre of Dereham and is the only specialist Christian bookseller serving Norfolk and Suffolk.

In 2025, it was named the UK’s Best Christian Bookshop, recognised for its community focus alongside its book offering.
