Rajpal Yadav deposits Rs 1.15 crore, to sell ancestral property for remaining payment

Rajpal Yadav has offered to sell his ancestral property as he seeks relief in a cheque-bounce case. The Supreme Court also issued a stern warning over his conduct.

New Delhi: Actor Rajpal Yadav will sell off his ancestral property to clear his dues of Rs 9 crore to the complainant in a cheque-bounce case. According to ANI, the actor was present in the court and had brought a demand draft of Rs 1.15 crore.

The remaining Rs 85 lakh is to be paid by October 13 through a buyer of his property, who was also present in the court. The court said that it would consider Yadav’s plea challenging the High Court order only after full payment is made.

Rajpal Yadav to sell off his ancestral property

The Supreme Court on Wednesday (October 7) accepted the proposal of Rajpal Yadav to sell off his ancestral property to pay his dues in the cheque-bounce case.

The order said, “The petitioner has finally brought demand drafts in the sum of Rs 1.15 crore, which shall be deposited with the Registry during the course of the day. As regards ₹85 lakh, the petitioner claims that the prospective buyer of his property........
