Serial bride scam in Maharashtra: Woman marries 9 men, escapes with cash, jewellery

A local man has come out with allegations that he was cheated of lakhs of rupees after he was lured into a fake marriage that was arranged by agents. The victim later found that the woman had earlier similarly married eight men and escaped, each time taking the money as well as jewellery.

Beed: A racket targeting unmarried men through fake marriages have come to light in the Beed district of Maharashtra. The police is probing the claims in which a woman allegedly married several men before running away with jewellery and cash.
